DOLLARD, PHILIP T., – 86, of Linwood, loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2023.

Philip was born in Atlantic City on May 30, 1937, to Philip and Emily Dollard (Parker). He attended Holy Spirit High School where he was two sport athlete, baseball and basketball. He was a standout pitcher who once pitched and won a doubleheader against Pleasantville on his birthday. He was 1 of only 6 athletes to accomplish such a task dating back to 1893. This also happened to be the first time Holy Spirit High School beat Pleasantville twice in one season. He continued to play baseball, softball, and basketball in numerous adult leagues for several years.

Philip went on to serve two years in the United States Navy, spending some time aboard on the U.S.S. Hunt cruising in the Mediterranean and South American Waters. He began his professional career in the title insurance business working for American Suburban Title Company and retiring from the Title Company of New Jersey over 40 years later.

Philip met his wife of 36 years in Atlantic City; Priscilla Dollard (Collins). They were married on November 15, 1969. Priscilla was called home to be with the Lord in December of 2005.

Philip is survived by his twin daughters, Lisa (Dan) Baehner, Linda (Michael) Sommers, his two sisters, Francis Roper and Kathleen Phillips and his 4 grandchildren Daniel (Baehner), Olivia (Sommers), Joshua (Baehner) and Madison (Sommers).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, from 10:00 AM – 11:00AM at Linwood Community Church, located at 1838 Shore Rd., Linwood, followed by a service for family, friends and members of the Linwood Community Church where Philip and Priscilla were long time members beginning at 11:30 AM.
