Men's Minsitry
At Linwood, we desire to develop men who are exhibit Biblical masculinity and Love God, Love their Families, and Love their church.
We believe that discipling men is the center of our discipleship target. Spiritually mature men lead spiritually healthy families and grow into spiritual leaders in our church.
Men’s Discipleship Group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM.
There is a men’s basketball on Tuesday nights in the LCC Gym. This includes games and a devotional. It’s a great time of fellowship, outreach, and physical exercise.
Men can serve in a variety of ways but especially on Sunday morning as ushers and on our safety/security team.
Our ushers are men of all ages who help serve our guests and receive the offering. Since there is flexibility in an usher’s schedule, this is a good ministry for almost any LCC man.
A group of men led by our Trustees helps with building maintenance and repair. This is a great way to get “hands-on” experience serving with other men.
God has given our church a group of servant leader men who assist the pastors as ministers of mercy. These men serve LCC for a three-year term by providing deacon care, serving communion, assisting with baptisms, hosting guest receptions, and overseeing benevolence. These men are an integral part of the ministry.
