This past Thursday was “Bring Your Child to Work Day.” Kids were excused from school if they went to work with a parent. For the Byrd kids, two were with me, and one went with Jamie. We knew it was an excused absence, so when the robocall from the school came, we knew we could ignore it. Some absences are excused, and some are unexcused.

This week in Romans 1:18-20, Paul tells us about an inexcusable absence of righteousness. In light of this verdict, the gospel gains urgency. Romans 1:18-20 “Unexcused Unrighteousness: Sin’s Suppression System.”
